Education:
Bruce received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in May of 1990. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with Honors, from the University of Florida in May of 1987.
Concentration:
Bruce’s practice primarily involves the foreclosure of both residential and commercial mortgages, commercial and general civil litigation. Bruce also handles a variety of other real property litigation including partition of real property and quiet title actions.
Work History:
Currently, Bruce maintains an active mortgage foreclosure and real property litigation practice. A substantial portion of Bruce’s practice also involves representing clients in a variety of general civil litigation, seeking recovery for personal injuries due to negligence of others or resulting from intentional torts such as assault and battery, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.. Following law school, Bruce accepted a position with the Miami based law firm of Hyman & Kaplan, P.A. where he represented many condominium associations in the foreclosure of assessment liens, landlord/tenant matters and Bruce practiced insurance defense for large marine cargo insurance companies. Bruce subsequently was employed by the Fort Lauderdale based firm of Tripp, Scott, Conklin & Smith where he assisted partners in their representation of both private and governmental entities. Some larger clients included Alamo Rent-A-Car, Harley Davidson Corporation and the Florida Department of Transportation.
